Eh... I haven't been a good LJ friend.  I haven't been logged in for forever, haven't posted anything long before that.  So would you hate me if I posted just to pimp out this?:

SEE Trek Love is a fan-based movement advocating the fair and equal representation of sexual minorities in mainstream media, specifically in subsequent Star Trek films. We endeavor to continue the precedent previously established by the Star Trek franchise of envisioning a future wherein love is not limited by boundaries of race or gender.

Of course, the main push is for k/s acknowledged in canon, but also stronger female characters (ie: Uhura doing more than looking hawt, more females on bridge, etc) and other LGBT types.

... I bet none of you knew I was into this kind of thing, eh?

But anyway, I'm a moderator at the forum, so if you're interested at all, please do check it out and leave me a message.

... Spock and Kirk, just to spice up the post.  I prefer Nimoy and Shatner from back in the day, but Pine is a much better actor, and Quinto's nose is just awesome.

I'm. I'm awful.

Shit, I didn't learn anything from Peaks, did I?

Anyway, long story short, I probably failed to get sufficient aid to go to Emerson, if I do get accepted, and I still haven't been really applying for other types of aid, which I should have been for freaking years. I know I should have been, and once I'm out of high school, a lot of doors will be closing in the scholarship pool.

I want to train to be a teacher, but that...

I think, I should just (re)learn Vietnamese and move to Asia, where stuff is already dirt cheap and I will probably have a better chance of getting a job.

Although sometimes, I'm glad I have Chinese blood because Vietnamese people half weird bone structure.

Anyway, staying where I'm at shouldn't be so bad, right? I mean, this is Hollywood! More than half of the people in my suburban valley is involved with or wants to be involved with the entertainment industry; everything from Power Rangers to Ocean's Thirteen has been filmed here. Almost everyone I meet has a parent or family friend in the industry, Ashely Tisdale and that werewolf kid from Twilight went to the school down the street, and I mean, come on. What better place for someone who might want to be a screen writer?

Anyway. I have to do my homework.

And, oh my god, Gabe Saporta is oh so sassy.

Cobra Starship is my current, hardcore love.

I'm just updating to, you know, update. D: Hi~! I'm not dead!

But I really, don't have anything to say.

Which of the seven deadly sins—sloth, greed, lust, gluttony, anger, envy, and pride—are you most likely to commit?

View 502 Answers

If you know me, you know I'm most likely to commit gluttony. Over the Washington D.C. trip, people realized very quickly that if they didn't want something to eat, they could just pass it off to me. Even Ryan Poirer, who I didn't even know before D.C., handed me a nearly full thing of fries without question, and Marty gave me a shake, and I didn't know her either.

Of course, lust is a close second, if my attention to anyone attractive is any indication.

I haven't actually started writing it yet, but I'm working on a totally asian story right now, yes asian american keds (most probably vietnamese since that is what I know, but they'll have different types of asians for friends), and I want to make it a web comic. Only, I want it to be good, which means me not drawing it. Also, artist would have coauthor rights, though I'm pretty sure what I want.

This LJ, probably not the best place for an advert of such, since I don't shop around LJ much and I basically never get comments from my friends, but also my more favorite art friends are here so.

Anyway, ignore this if you please, and if you're considering, know that I am in serious heat for this story.

Gonna go post elsewhere now.

So Jackie and I are pretty sure that if we both get into our choice schools out there in Boston, we'll live together. I know, first year students are required to live on campus at Emerson, but having one of my best friends with me in the city would still totally rock. :D

1. Tonight's episode of monk was the one filmed at my school! At some points you can see college kids walking around in the background of that opening scene, lol.

2. I leave for DC in the morning. ohemgee.

A pointless post just to say, I spent a freaking hour making my first gif icon of LUCAS DANCING. That Sara Lee commercial with Lucas and Corbin is just too cute to ignore.

I'm also in the process of installing WoW. Don't judge me. The battle chest was 14 bucks on Black Friday, okay?

-editing-
I think I like Lucas even more recently, because the songs he actually writes are right up my alley. <3 I've been seeing other fans of his around talking about how he should be doing more clean cut Disney pop, but I love his dance-electronic songs. No, they don't show of his voice quite as well, but it's what he wants to do, dammit. He likes acting more anyway.

Have you ever gone without something for a while and then when you get back to it you cant get enough? Like, sleep. I like sleeping. Waking up at three to go run around in lines at Fry's... yeah. Sleep.

And drawing too, that comic I've started a million times about high school keds, which in all honesty is self indulgence on something much too mundane to actually be recognized. I always like writing about when Benji meets the scooby gang, but since he's not even really part of their world, the whole story is kind of pointless, except that Dante will forever be in love with Benji even though Benji ends up becoming a, like, costumer service rep or something boring like that. Anyway. I sat down and started  redoing his story for the millionth time, and, I think that my drawing is actually much better.

I was dying to play the piano, like, dying, so when I finally got to my cousins house, I ended up sitting at the piano for what must have been like, an hour, or it felt thatway,or maybe I'mstill fuzzy from like, lack of sleep or something, but it was really satisfying until I realized I didn't have anythingI wanted to play. I want to learn something new. Does anyone have any suggestions of a cool song to learn? D:

I recently watched Iron man and Tropic Thunder. Both were great. Iron Man was witty and generally awesome~~ Tropic Thunder seemed funnier the secondt time around.

Milk came out. The closest theater is ArcLight down in the Valley, that expensive place that costs like, eighteen dollars a ticket. D: Anybody want to see it with me? I'm planning probably day trip with my sister and a couple friends. :D

Happy Thanksgiving, and Happy Black Friday. How was yours? Mine was epic.

But that's a story for another post.

Step 1: Put your iTunes or equivalent on random.

Step 2: Post the first line from the first 20 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.

Step 3: Bold out the songs when someone guesses correctly.

Step 4: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!!

(This took me forever to do because a lot of the songs I couldn't not listen through, and between these tracks there were a kajillion lyricless songs, mostly from FF7 piano collections and Hitotsu no Koi OST and Angry String Quartet, lol.)

1. Pacific sun, you should have warned us, it gets so cold out here. (guessed by sinkbreaker
2. It may not feel too classy, begging just to eat, (guessed by playingmyrole)

3. I'm not a perfect person. There's many things I wish I didn't do.
4. Here lies everything. The world I wanted lying at my feet, (guessed by playingmyrole)
5. What's a dad for dad? Tell me why I'm here dad.
6. Well I'm blowing smoke out of your window
7. It's four AM, I'm waking up to the smell of your perfume
8. Please understand, this is not goodbye. This is I can't stand you.
9. You got it.
10. Beauty queen of only eighteen. She had some problems with herself. (guessed by sinkbreaker
11. Yeah, my girlfriend takes me home when I'm too drunk to drive. (guessed by sinkbreaker)

12. I wait around for the "still small center"
13. Aishiteru. Aishiteru. Sora igai mitsukaranai (guessed by sinkbreaker)
14. Passed out in our school clothes so we'd wake up in our Sunday's best
15. No mires asi atras, porque ya es pasado
16. I got to tell you that he waited his whole life
17. Saki no kotodore hodo ni kangaete ite mo (guessed by fakedmarzee)
18. Hair's breaking down on the camel's back,
19. Come to decide that the things that I tried were in my life just to get high on.
20. He rides across the nation, the thoroughbred of sin. (guessed by playingmyrole)

My lack of variety shows, if you know who the five-some artists are. It's mostly that I've been too lazy to add new songs to my playlist unless they're thrust at me.

Rising high in the horizon, over the southern hills, the plumes of Sylmar smoke rose, pink in the mid day sun. Magic Mountain was closed. I was a little disappointed.

BUT that is callous to say, when that fire has by now burnt down an entire frickin mobile park. D: It's really close, and apparently a state of emergency has been declared, but it's not in SCV, so are we still having school? CCC is indeed closed, but Valencia campus is open still. But apparently from Stevensons Ranch you can see those flames, and COC is closer. And I also checked the high school district site, and apparently that's still open. :x

I didn't do my homework.

Some priest in Carolina believes that voting for Obama is a mortal sin.

Some bishops agree with him. Some don't. My dad agrees that I should go to confession before voting, but that is utter bullshit. Although I have a lot of things to be confessing about, not limited to smut fanfic and a dirty mouth, voting for Obama is utterly stupid.

The priest said, and I quote, "A vote for a pro-abortion candidate can be a mortal sin if the intent is to support abortion, that abortion is not merely one issue among other important issues, and that no Catholic should endorse a pro-abortion politician if a plausible pro-life alternative is available.""

Convoluted much? So... voting for a "pro-abortion candidate" (Obama) is only a sin if it is to support abortion (which isn't why I voted for him), but voting for "pro-abortion candidate" (Obama) over a "plausible pro-life alternative" (McCain) is a sin.

Therein saying voting Obama is a sin?

WELL, whatever, I'm taking communion. Msgr. Mike didn't say anything about confessing for voting, so I won't.

I have become ridiculously obsessed with High School Musical. No, I've become ridiculously obsessed with an ongoing debate about Ryan Evans' sexual orientation.

I am torturing myself, reading fanfiction.net forums. I went ahead and googled debates on Ryan's sexuality. I found too many to link. I am even more firmly convinced that he is gay.

Not that I'm hating; I'm loving. Lucas does great. Though he has obviously been typecasting himself. Ryan Evans, the bit on Veronica Mars, his part in Milk. He's also making a niche for himself in the family movie market, what with Foodboy and that Dancing Ninja movie with the Hoff. And also he's doing Lock and Roll Forever, something pretty different... busy boy.

Ah, I wanted to take the screenwriting class at COCk, but it conflicts. (But I'm crossing my fingers for finally taking Creative Writing. And with Amadeo in my class.)

I finally saw HSM3. *squeals!* Why don't I have any friends who like it too? (besides Haley, of course. And Amanda and Mel.)

It was mind blowing.

except for the lack of plot, but Lucas in his pink pants dancing and actually singing solo (if only for a minute) makes up for it. And Ryan took Kelsi to prom, which is the only thing I've ever wanted from this series. The even got accepted to Julliard together. And my slash fangirl side nearly swooned when I saw Troy's arms around Ryan, saying you're easier to dance with than she is!

I saw it twice. Well, really, once in a half, since I had to leave early second time.

After US Government with Walker today, I wanted to talk again about the elections. More in depth than last.

Basically, Walker gave us a little speech, seemed almost moved to tears by the fact that THE 18-29 YEAR OLDS CAME OUT AND VOTED.

We, the young and liberal, the future of America, have, in Walker's words, changed American politics forever. Instead of catering to old coots who are in it for tradition, doing things for the future generation that the future generation doesn't even care about, we exercised our rights to take control. Put a black man into office. Run a proposition 8 poll so close there that it is almost at 50-50.

On that note,[info]sinkbreaker says it all.

Anyway, I'm cheering on Connecticut.

My brother keeps insisting Obama will be assassinated before he takes office.
I love him, but god help me if he doesn't cut the crap I think I will strangle him.

(And I am so excited to see Obama be inaugurated!
